Lauren's Way Gradual Tan

My camera is still a no go at the moment so I have resorted to my blackberry camera.
This is my first review and as it's summer I thought I'd go for fake tan! I was actually lucky enough to be given this for free in the infamous Bloggers Boutique goody bag, and the mit I bought for only 25p! Bargain or what?

It's a gel fake tan so applies really easily - I simply rubbed into the skin using circular motions squeezing a small amount onto the mit each time. It goes on really light so you have to be careful not to miss patches and make sure you rub in an even layer. I was really pleased with the results as it has a matte finish making it look very natural. Another plus is that it dries very quickly and doesn't leave you feeling sticky when you get dressed! As it's a gradual tan I will continue using this everyday to build up the colour before my holiday next week so I'm not the only milk bottle on the beach.

I would definitely recommend this to first time or experienced tan users!

Have any of you got any fake tan recommendations?

Footwear Faves

*All images have been sourced from Tumblr and Google Images*

I've been a bit stuck for posts recently as I've been forgetful as usual and lost my camera memory card and haven't bought new batteries for it yet. With summer on the door step I haven't got long before my holiday to turkey for a week! I'm so excited and have got some last minute purchases to make, one of the most important being SHOES.

Until recently I've never seen shoes as interesting or important in an outfit as clothes, but after buying my creepers I'm fascinated! I'm literally saving for every colour creeper there is out there...
The classics such as Converse and Litas will never go out of fashion so will always be a great investment. It was a tough choice between Docs and Creepers for my first major shoes purchase but Doc Martins are defo on my wishlist. No festival goer is complete without some Hunters, Nike Blazers are huge hit right now and I must admit I have a soft spot for Vans, especially these studded beauties!

Now there's just the impossible decision of choosing which shoes I'll be rocking this summer?!

How to wear stripes

This season stripes has been a major hit! Especially in the form of leggings or jeans, which I have seen pasted all over Tumblr and throughout Blogland. I bought these leggings from Newlook a while back, they were only about £8.
I'm wearing Creepers in all these outfits as they are typically paired with these leggings and look great together.
Outfit 1: The top is from primark and was featured in my very first post because of the peterpan collar
Outfit 2: I tie dyed this tshirt myself and absolutely love it! Hopefully this is an upcoming trend for summer
Outfit 3: The top is an old denim shirt from Primark and the jumper is from H&M. They are both old purchases so it was nice to dig them out from the wardrobe and give them a new lease of life.
These are one of my most interesting pairs of leggings and I hope to wear them a lot more!

Guns 'N' Roses

Hat:Primark Tshirt:H&M Shorts:Topshop Creepers:Ebay

I treated myself to these shorts a few weeks back as I desperately needed an outfit for a party. They were a very last minute purchase and I wasn't even sure if I'd wear them again, but I love them! The stripes are ultra cute and candy colours are a growing trend at the moment. They are quite hard to pair with outfits but this grunge Guns 'N' Roses crop tee works really well as it gives the shorts a more edgy look, and the Creepers fit right in!
I don't usually wear hats but it was a present from my boyfriend and the colour goes well with this outfit. I'm obsessed with burgundy at the moment so expect to see this colour popping up throughout my posts.
